Infrastructure Grants
The Office of Statewide Broadband is the state’s leader on administering funds to internet service providers and local governments so broadband infrastructure can be built to reach every Marylander.
Through several grant programs since its establishment in 2017, the Office has awarded funding to provide every last Marylander with access to high-speed internet. The Office administered programs focused on expanding broadband infrastructure, reaching unserved communities, and connecting difficult-to-serve locations. These programs were funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act and the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment program.
There are no active infrastructure grant funding opportunities for internet service providers or local governments as the State has shifted to the implementation phase.
