About Main Street Maryland
Main Street Maryland helps communities strengthen and revitalize their downtowns. It serves as the state coordinating program for the National Main Street Center, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Since launching in 1998 with three communities, the program has grown to support more than 50 communities across the state.
Through partnerships, technical assistance, and a nationally recognized revitalization approach, Main Street Maryland helps communities strengthen local economies, preserve historic character, and create vibrant places to live, work, and visit.
