NEW CARROLLTON, MD October 10, 2025 – The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development is preparing statewide housing production targets in accordance with Governor Moore’s Housing Starts Here Executive Order. The Department will hold a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, October 22 at 12:00 pm to gather public input and feedback on the development of the housing production targets.

Individuals who are unable to attend the public hearing are encouraged to review a recording of the public hearing that will be made available and submit written comments to [email protected]. All comments must be received by 5:00 pm EST Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
