Electric Vehicle Charging Program

​The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will open the Multifamily Energy Efficiency and Housing Affordability (MEEHA) Electric Vehicle Charger Program (EVCP) in May of 2026 and is seeking interested property owners to participate in the program.

Eligibility

  • A minimum of 51% of the units must have incomes at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
  • The property must have affordability restrictions for a minimum of 5 years.
